- Which tools can help us define and bridge the pay gap?
- How can we attract women and sustain their presence in industrial positions and other professions that are traditionally held by men?
- Which solutions can facilitate the conciliation of employees’ professional and private life?
- How can the change of culture and the eradication of gender prejudices become more efficient in business?
- Can we find new ways to prevent and deal with sexual harassment and minor offenses?
- Can technology help eradicate the unconscious prejudice that often hinders the hiring and promotion of capable women?
- How can we invent new alternative ways regarding the quota of equal representation?
- What means can we use to estimate the profit or the loss of a business based on the promotion or the absence of equality and inclusion?
Do you want to work on an innovative idea that will give answers to some of the questions above?
Do you want to cooperate with people from the fields of technology, HR, design, communications, and business management in order to develop together sustainable solutions and tools that can make business a more equal workspace?
If so, you are invited on the 21 & 22 of February at Women on Top’s Design Jam, at Athens Digital Lab of Serapheio in the Municipality of Athens, in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation of Greece and Cyprus and under the aegis of General Secretariat for Equality and Human Rights.
The coordination of the procedure and groups will be handled by Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s guest, Janina Sundermeier, Assistant Professor of Digital Entrepreneurship and Diversity and Founder of Digital Entrepreneurship Hub & WoMenventures.
During the Design Jam, the participants, coming from different fields, will collaborate to develop innovative and applicable solutions –technological or not- regarding the real challenges that the companies deal with when trying to become more equal and inclusive employers.
At the end of the two days, the groups having worked on specific ideas, will present a model of their service, application, product or campaign and will be evaluated from the panel, consisted of representatives of Women On Top, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation of Greece and Cyprus and the corporate sponsors of the seminar.
The members of the groups with the highest score will be awarded and they might witness their idea come true, contributing thus to the solution of one of the biggest challenges of our time –in Greece and beyond. Whoever wants to submit a specific idea or want to be part of a group working on specific solutions, can register in this link.
