Terms and conditions for mentees
Contracting Parties
1.1. ΤΗΕ FAMILY HUB OE, which is headquartered at 2, Eurystheus Street, in the Municipality of Athens, Attica and is legally represented, and operates in the field a. of the provision of professional networking services to support women (and in particular women belonging to vulnerable and specific population groups) in initiating, developing and developing their professional activity; b. of conducting information seminars and other professional development activities; and c. of the production and dissemination of information and educational material relating to the professional development of women (and in particular women belonging to vulnerable and specific population groups).

1.2. The “mentoree”, who has made an advance payment for a subscription package to THE FAMILY HUB OE, in order to receive its professional support services, hereinafter referred to as mentoring, be guided by a mentor designated by THE FAMILY HUB OE, make the most of her studies, her professional capacity and her skills to work in one or more professional fields, as detailed below.

Membership in THE FAMILY HUB OE
The cost of participation in the activities ofTHE FAMILY HUB OE, paid by members interested in starting a mentoring relationship with a mentor, covers the investigation of the specific professional needs of the mentoree, the process of finding and identifying the appropriate mentor to cover their needs and the monitoring and support of mentor and mentoree during the mentoring cycle, in the form of guidelines and advice. The subscription also provides members with preferential prices for some of the other services, and / or activities of THE FAMILY HUB OE, as they are defined at the time. The subscription packages available for the mentoree  are the following: a. subscription package lasting three (3) months, b. six (6) month subscription package and c. subscription package of twelve (12) months. The cost of each subscription package as well as the extra privileges are included in this appendix.

As the mentoring package comes into force, the mentor’s timeline for identifying the appropriate mentor is set by e-mail.

Mentor Search Process by THE FAMILY HUB OE
3.1. The process of searching for the appropriate mentor for each mentoree from THE FAMILY HUB OE begins after the application has been filled in by the mentoree and the cost of the corresponding package has been paid. The length of time required to look for the appropriate mentor depends on the specific circumstances surrounding the mentoree’s request, with regard to the professional field in which it is interested. In the event of failing to identify an appropriate mentor after a period of more than 3 months THE FAMILY HUB OE shall reimburse the entire amount of the subscription to the member. In this case,THE FAMILY HUB OE may alternatively propose to these members different forms of professional support from network partners. If the relevant proposal is accepted, members receive, without further financial obligation, support services equivalent to the value of the mentoring package they have paid and the subscription paid is not refunded.

3.2. In the case of rejection of the selected mentor by the candidate mentoree, THE FAMILY HUB OE is obliged to make a second search cycle. In this case, the time for finding the appropriate mentor is extended for a further two months, and the entry into force of the assistance is not shifted. In the case of rejection of the mentor’s second choice, the latter may either request the reimbursement of 30% of the value of the package he has paid or request a third attempt to find the appropriate mentor, thereby waiving the right to a refund of any percentage of the value of the package it has purchased.

3.3. In case eitherTHE FAMILY HUB OE or the persons in the mentoring relationship apply for or decide to terminate the relationship, mentoree may ask THE FAMILY HUB OE to seek a new mentor so that the mentoring cycle covered by the corresponding subscription is completed. In the event thatTHE FAMILY HUB OE is not informed promptly of any problems that have arisen in the mentoring relationship, the mentoree is not entitled to request reimbursement of all or part of its assistance. Accordingly, if the mentoree fails to observe one or more principles of the Code of Conduct as defined by the Network (courtesy, respect, and commitment to the relationship), and her behavior leads in discontinuation of its cooperation with its mentor, she does not have the right to seek part or all of the assistance she has paid toTHE FAMILY HUB OE.

Schedule of mentoring sessions
The way and means of communication – whether electronic, telephone, postal, live – as well as its frequency, are co-decided by the mentor and mentoree and are determined by their needs and availability.

The duration of each mentoring cycle is set at three (3), six (6) or twelve (12) months, depending on the needs and availability of the parties of each cycle and the mentoree subscription package to THE FAMILY HUB OE.

In case one or both of the parties to the present (ie mentoree and / or THE FAMILY HUB OE) wish to terminate the mentoring relationship with the mentoree before the completion of the previously agreed cycle time mentoring, must inform the counterparty (mentoree orTHE FAMILY HUB, respectively) within 15 days by registered letter or e-mail, giving notice of its expiration.

Confidentiality
The information that the mentoree will share with the mentor within the mentoring cycle is confidential. The management of information is subject to the relevant privacy laws and may be used byTHE FAMILY HUB OE to facilitate the operation of the network in such a way as to prohibit any attribution to either the mentoree or the mentor.

The mentoree agrees not to disclose to third parties the information provided to it in the mentoring cycle, for any purpose, for example. professional, social, advertising, etc. without or in return.

THE FAMILY HUB OE reserves the right to access information related to both the content and the mentoring process – as long as the mentor and / or the mentoree so request – in order to take either a supportive role or a supervisory role.

Financial obligations towards the mentor
The mentoree is not obliged to pay any compensation, financial or otherwise, to her mentor for her services. In the event that the mentoree is asked to do so, she is obliged to disclose it to THE FAMILY HUB OE.

Content of the mentoring relationship
During communication between mentor and mentoree, the latter shares with the mentor issues, concerns and problems related to her professional development, in order for the mentor, among other things, to support her in the realization of her professional goals, to develop her abilities to deal with problems and work issues that concern her, to listen to her concerns and concerns, to give her guidance, to provide her with support as needed. It is clarified that the mentor’s obligations do not include the free provision of services which, in addition to mentoring, the mentor offers for payment. Such services are, for example, defined as educational and advisory services. If a professional relationship between mentor and mentoree is developed outside of mentoring,THE FAMILY HUB OE should be informed about this within a reasonable time to review the mentoring relationship between the mentor and the mentoree. On the other hand, no liability is due for ancillary obligations (insurance, financial, etc.) resulting from this relationship.

The mentor clearly understands that the mentor does not have the right to exploit the mentoree emotionally, financially, sexually or in any other way, either to exercise psychological-verbal as well as physical violence against it.

General provisions
8.1.THE FAMILY HUB OE is not responsible for the quality of the final outcome of the mentoring relationship, which will be developed between the mentor and the mentoree.

8.2.THE FAMILY HUB OE is not responsible for the way of contact, the frequency and the duration of the meetings between the mentor and the mentoree: these must be co-decided by the parties in the mentoring relationship, depending on the needs and the their availability at the start of the mentoring relationship.

8.3.THE FAMILY HUB OE intervenes only after being informed by the mentor and / or the mentoree of any problems in the mentoring relationship, namely: when one and / or both parties do not meet the obligations set by THE FAMILY HUB OE in the mentoring relationship, when one and / or both parties find a mentoring relationship malfunction. In these cases, DE FAMILY HAMB OE can proceed with dissolving the mentoring relationship between the mentor and the mentoree.

8.4. THE FAMILY HUB OE is not responsible for the existence and possible development of the relationship between mentor and mentoree after the end of the mentoring cycle, unless it is done within the framework of organized activities of the network and under the conditions of its operation, with the necessary condition that the financial obligations on the part of the mentoree be settled beforehand.

8.5. If it is found during a mentoring cycle that the mentoree asks her mentor to cover needs that do not fall within those that can cover a mentoring relationship,THE FAMILY HUB OO reserves the right to interrupt the mentoring cycle between the mentor and the mentoree. In this case, the mentoree may request either a suspension of the remaining contribution period until appropriate conditions exist to make the mentoring appropriate for itself, or the reimbursement of the rate of assistance corresponding to the time remaining until the completion of the cycle .

8.6 THE FAMILY HUB OE reserves the right to ask its members for personal data during their application to participate in a mentoring program and to keep their personal data in a safe manner in order to: a) perform the processing of their applications in the best way and liaising with the appropriate mentor; b) communicating with them on issues related to their assistance and mentoring co-operation; and c) informing them about its actions and news related to its fields its activity. It pledges to provide its members with access to these data and the possibility of deleting them at any time when members wish to do so and not to communicate them to third parties unless they have given their explicit consent.

Annex

Mentoring Subscription Packages

a. Three month subscription package includes a mentoring cycle with a 3 month network mentor. Package cost, 50 euro + VAT.

b. A six (6) month subscription package includes conducting a mentoring cycle with a network mentor of 6 months duration. Cost of package, 70 euros + VAT.

c. A twelve (12) month subscription package involves conducting a mentoring cycle with a 12 month network mentor. Cost of package 100 euros + VAT.

After completing the initial subscription package, the mentoree is provided with the possibility of renewing the mentoring subscription package with the same mentor and / or different mentor.

In the case of renewing the mentoring package, with a view to starting a new mentoring cycle with the same mentor, the mentor’s prior consent is required, as well as the information and consent ofTHE FAMILY HUB OE.

In the case of renewing the mentoring package, with a view to starting a mentoring cycle with another mentor, the procedures as defined in the Mentoree Convention are re-enforced.

 

 

 

Terms and conditions for mentors
  1. Contracting Parties

1.1. ΤΗΕ FAMILY HUB OE, which is headquartered at 2, Eurystheus Street, in the Municipality of Athens, Attica and is legally represented, and operates in the field a. of the provision of professional networking services to support women (and in particular women belonging to vulnerable and specific population groups) in initiating, developing and developing their professional activity; b. of conducting information seminars and other professional development activities; and c. of the production and dissemination of information and educational material relating to the professional development of women (and in particular women belonging to vulnerable and specific population groups).

1.2. The “mentor”, who voluntarily offers professional support services, hereinafter referred to as “mentoring”, by utilizing her professional capacity, skills and experience in one or more occupational fields, to one or more persons who are the recipients of the professional  support (“mentoree(s)”), by THE FAMILY HUB OE, as detailed below.

The way and means of communication – whether electronic, telephone, postal, live – as well as its frequency, are co-decided by the mentor and mentoree and are determined by their needs and availability.

The duration of each mentoring cycle is set at three (3), six (6) or twelve (12) months, depending on the needs and availability of the parties of each cycle and the mentoree subscription package to THE FAMILY HUB OE.

The mentor reserves the right, prior to the commencement of each mentoring cycle, to refuse to participate in it.

In the event that one or both of the parties to this Agreement wish to end the mentoring mentor relationship with the mentoree, before completing the previously agreed period of the mentoring cycle, they shall inform the other party, within 15 days, by registered letter or e-mail, giving notice of its expiry.

Confidentiality
The information that the mentor will share with the mentoree within the mentoring cycle is confidential.   1. Financial obligations

The mentor agrees to contract with THE FAMILY HUB OE,  with no financial consideration in conducting the mentoring cycle in the context of her voluntary participation in the network.

The mentor is not entitled to ask the mentoree (s) for any kind of material compensation for his / her services to him / her.

THE FAMILY HUB OE may offer promotional / publicity services to the mentor free of charge or at reduced discount, subject to the prior express consent of the mentor and provided that the Greek legislation allows the promotion / advertising of the professional services of the mentor.

THE FAMILY HUB OE reserves the right to refuse to promote information, persons or actions that are inconsistent with its purpose or do not meet its quality criteria.

8.3.THE FAMILY HUB OE intervenes only after being informed by the mentor and / or the mentoree of any problems in the mentoring relationship, namely: when one and / or both parties do not meet the obligations set by THE FAMILY HUB OE in the mentoring relationship, when one and / or both parties find a mentoring relationship malfunction. In these cases, DE FAMILY HAMB OE can proceed with dissolving the mentoring relationship between the mentor and the mentoree.

8.4. THE FAMILY HUB OE is not responsible for the existence and possible development of the relationship between mentor and mentoree after the end of the mentoring cycle, unless it is done within the framework of organized activities of the network and under the conditions of its operation, with the necessary condition that the financial obligations on the part of the mentoree be settled beforehand.

8.5. If it is found during a mentoring cycle that the mentoree asks her mentor to cover needs that do not fall within those that can cover a mentoring relationship,THE FAMILY HUB OO reserves the right to interrupt the mentoring cycle between the mentor and the mentoree. In this case, the mentoree may request either a suspension of the remaining contribution period until appropriate conditions exist to make the mentoring appropriate for itself, or the reimbursement of the rate of assistance corresponding to the time remaining until the completion of the cycle .

8.6 THE FAMILY HUB OE reserves the right to ask its members for personal data during their application to participate in a mentoring program and to keep their personal data in a safe manner in order to: a) perform the processing of their applications in the best way and liaising with the appropriate mentor; b) communicating with them on issues related to their assistance and mentoring co-operation; and c) informing them about its actions and news related to its fields its activity. It pledges to provide its members with access to these data and the possibility of deleting them at any time when members wish to do so and not to communicate them to third parties unless they have given their explicit consent.
