Elsa focuses on research, development and innovation policies as well as funding instruments supporting activities from basic research to market entry and scale up. She has dealt with gender equality policies, startups & SMEs support mechanisms. A jurist by education, she concluded a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies in the UK and then joined the Structured Finance division of an investment bank in Luxembourg. She then worked for Arthur Andersen and subsequently Ernst & Young as a Business Consultant. Brussels based since 2006, Elsa entered the area of EU affair where she worked for a Public Affairs company, a Non-For-Profit organisation and since 2014, for the EU Institutions.
