On Thursday, April 27, the Delphi Economic Forum will host, for the 4th consecutive year, the Inclusivity Lounge organized by Women On Top, with the support of the US Embassy and Visa, the British Council, Vodafone and Growthfund, the National Fund of Greece, under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Demographic and Family Policy and Gender Equality.
The Inclusivity Lounge, entitled “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Health”, will be a place for meeting, thinking, exchanging ideas and networking, with selected speakers analyzing issues that fall under the broader theme of gender equality and inclusion in health.
Which under-represented groups are excluded from health research, structures and services, and what are the practices that mitigate discrimination? What are the multiple exclusions that different groups such as women, people with disabilities, and the LGBTI community may experience? How can women contribute more actively, through entrepreneurship and technology, to shaping a healthier and more sustainable future? How does gender-based violence and safety in the public sphere relate to corporate responsibility and access to public services and structures? Where do the issues of mental health and gender intersect?
The aim of the initiative is to put the above questions at the heart of the Delphi Economic Forum, one of the most important meeting and decision-making platforms, and to meaningfully open the debate on equality, diversity and inclusion, at a time when the issues of public health claim an important place in the public debate.
