  1. The term “Personal Data” refers to information that concerns you, such as your name, last name, postal and electronic address, telephone, gender, comments that have been sent electronically, etc., which can be used to identify you personally, hereinafter “Personal Data or Data”. 
  2. The Webpage hosts the mentoring platform. To use this platform and essentially benefit from this specific service, you will be asked to provide additional information, such as your CV, and other details regarding your needs and wishes. This information in necessary for the mentoring service to function, and for each candidate mentee to be able to find the mentor she needs. 
  3.  The processing of personal data of minors and their consent are legal, provided minors are over the age of 15. If a minor is under the age of 15, we can process their data only with the consent of their guardian.
  4. When you visit and browse our Website, we gather only the data collected by the cookies you have consented to, as detailed in our Cookies Policy (link). Sometimes you may find on our website embedded material from another website or social medium. If you select it and click on it, there is a possibility that some of your personal data will be uploaded to the respective services that provide the embed and used for advertising and product promotion purposes.
  5. We will keep the information of an email message in our data base for 5 years, in line with our Policy related to our financial transactions with you and for any further communications.
  6. If you have agreed to us sending you informational and promotional materials, we will enter your email address in our contact list and client base, until you let us know that you no longer wish to be on our list, in which case we will delete you from it. 
  7. The Website uses Google Analytics (GA) to monitor users’ activity. We use this data to determine the number of people using our Website and gain a better understanding of how they find and use our webpages, and to see how they navigate our Website.
  8. We collect your Data exclusively for the purposes of the services we provide, and more specifically:
    a) to ensure correct registration and participation in your programme of choice
    b) to contact you using the contact details you provide to us
    c) to comply with the obligations mandated by law, as applicable from time to time
    d) to know which of our programmes you prefer to follow and inform you about them. 
  9. We process your personal data either for the purposes of the offered services or based on your consent. We only process the absolutely necessary data and try to collect the minimum amount of data; the less the better. 
  10. The recipients of the Data are the absolutely necessary WoT personnel, who are bound by confidentiality, our partner companies which process your Data on our behalf and in accordance with our orders. We use third parties to facilitate our Service, to perform services related to the WoT purposes or to analyse they way in which our Website and its contents are being used.
    These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to carry out these tasks on our behalf and they are obligated to refrain from disclosing or using it for any other purpose.
  11. Data processors and any third persons promise and have agreed to

    maintain confidentiality
    b) refrain from forwarding Data to third parties without our or your written consent
    c) take appropriate security measures
    d) comply with the legal frame on the protection of personal data and specifically with GDPR.
  12. Your Personal Data is stored and processed only within the European Union, except for the data that must be sent abroad to execute the agreement.
  13. Moreover, we may share or disclose your Data when you have requested it in writing or when required by law.
  14. We promise to keep your data safe, so that no one is able to view or copy it. We have taken all appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect and safeguard your Data from any type of accidental or unlawful data processing.
  15. In relation to your Personal Data, you have the following rights:

    You have the right to access your personal data. This means you have the right to be informed by us, if we are processing your Data, about the purpose of the processing, the type of Data we store, the parties we forward the Data to, the period of time for which we store it and whether automated decision-making takes place.
    b) You have the right to correct any inaccurate Data. If you identify a mistake in your Data, you can ask us to correct it.
    c) You have the right to erasure/right to be forgotten. You can ask us to erase your Data if it are no longer necessary for the processing purposes or if you wish to recall your consent, in case this is the only legal basis.
    d) You have the right to Data portability. You can ask to received the Data you have given to us in readable format or you can ask us to forward it to a different data controller.
    e) You have the right to restrict processing. You can ask us to limit the processing of your Data for as long as your objections against processing are being reviewed.
    f) You have the right to object to the processing of your Data. You can object to the processing of your Data or revoke your consent, and we will stop the processing of your data, unless there are other compelling legitimate grounds that take precedence over your rights.
  16. To exercise your rights, you can send us a relevant Request at info@womenontop.gr and we will make sure to review it and respond to you as soon as possible.
  17. We do not make decisions and we do not create profiles based on automated processing of your Data.
  18. We process your Data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679/EU and the general national and European legal and regulatory framework for the protection of Personal Data.
  19. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority if you feel that the processing of your Personal Data is in violation of the applicable national and regulatory framework for the protection of Personal Data.
  20. We will update this Policy as necessary. If there are important changes to the Policy or the way in which we use your Personal Data, we will notify you either by posting a notification in a prominent place before the changes take effect or with any other suitable means. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly, to know how your Data is being protected.
