The training seminar on preventing & combating sexual harassment at work, in the field of tourism, has been completed!
Women On Top, in collaboration with ActionAid, organizes free online training seminars as part of the Safe at Work program, to prevent and combat sexual harassment in the workplace. After the first and second cycle of seminars, which were addressed to human resources executives/team managers and working/self-employed people, we are back with another seminar addressed to the tourism sector!
Our aim is to ensure that all people involved in the labor market have the tools to prevent and combat sexual harassment, manage any problematic behavior and support victims of sexual harassment in their work environment.
The seminar will cover what sexual harassment is and what is not, the context in which it can occur, and the ways in which we can deal with it when we are put in a difficult position. We will talk about how we should behave at work, to foster inclusion and respect, and how we can set our own boundaries, while sharing small but important rules of conduct that will help us not to violate, even inadvertently, the limits of our partners. Finally, we will dispel myths that need to be revised if we want to make a meaningful contribution to addressing the phenomenon of sexual harassment at work.
Participation is free and the call is addressed to people working in the tourism sector.
