The 7ο Ready for Work (again) kicks off!
Women On Top’s training and employability program, Ready for Work (again), returns for its 7th time, and, in partnership with the Sani/Ikos Hotel Group, gives 30 women the tools they need to re-enter the labor market and find a job in the dynamically growing tourism industry.
Did you pause your professional path to take care of the children or a member of your family, and now you want to find again a position that fulfills you? Have you lost your job and are struggling to re-enter the labor market? If you want to get back on track in your job search, this program will help you succeed!
Women On Top, with the support of the Sani/Ikos Group, organizes Ready for Work (again) @ Tourism, a specialized three-phase training and mentoring program for the professional empowerment of women who want to restart their careers, focusing on the tourism and hospitality industry. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have the opportunity to join the the Sani/Ikos Group.
1st Step: Training by Women On Top
From 11/3/24 through 15/3/24, 30 women who have been out of work for 2 or more years will participate for free in a series of 10 hands-on and interactive workshops and, through a unique experience of empowerment and networking, they will become members of a community with similar dreams and concerns. The funds they will receive will help them develop the skills they need to re-enter the job market with knowledge and enthusiasm, focusing on the tourism and hospitality sector.
The workshops will take place from Monday to Friday, 10.00-15.00, via Zoom, and their topics will include, among others, job search strategies, CV and cover letter writing, the development of negotiation and assertiveness skills, self-confidence and coping with the internal judge, as well as work/life balance.
2n Step: Training by Όμιλο Sani/Ikos
From 26/3/24 until 29/3/24, the participants will attend a second cycle of free training by experienced executives of the Sani/Ikos Group. The workshops will take place from Tuesday to Friday, 10.00-12.30 via Zoom, while the trainees will also have access to the Sani/Ikos Group’s specially designed online asynchronous training platform, to develop their skills. The topics of the workshops will include, among others, the basic principles of customer service, complaint management, as well as a comprehensive update on the operation of hotel units and the Greek tourist market.
3rd Step: Mentoring
Upon completion of the workshops, the graduates will be connected with women who have extensive professional experience in the field of tourism, to carry out a three-month mentoring collaboration with them. At the end of the program, they will be equipped with valuable skills, tools and contacts that they can use in their efforts to re-enter the job market and build a career in hospitality.
Ready for Work (again) is for you if:
- You had to or chose to spend 2 or more years caring for your children or another family member, but now you want to return to work.
- You have lost touch with the field of work and have doubts about whether you will be able to cope with the new demands.
- You are not sure if you want to continue on the path you started and you are worried about whether you will be able to combine your professional life with your family life.
